Yes is the simple answer.

With all the advancements in technology and the ability to share video tutorials and stream karate classses, there has never been a better time to learn karate at home.

But there are some problems that i will address in this article.

I am going to cover the advantages and disadvantages to learning karate at home.

How people are changing the way they learn by adapting their learning around their busy modern lives.

We now live in a fast paced world and sometimes committing to certain days and times on a regular basis can be difficult if not impossible.

I have taught thousands of karateka over the years and many times they have sadly stopped practicing karate, due to a busy schedule and lack of time.

Now with our advanced website capability, social media and ability to stream lessons, anyone with and internet connection can learn karate at home and even take examinations.

So lets get into the advantages and disadvantages of someone wanting to find out how to learn karate at home.

The main disadvantage with trying to learn karate at home is partner work.

But that can always come later on, maybe. No one can say you cannot learn and practice karate at home.

In fact, as our society evolves, I believe more and more people are going to be training at home, whether that be fitness, yoga, gymnastics or karate!

Our online Dojo is growing at an incredible rate, we are continually adding content and more and more people are joining.

We have live zoom classes that are recorded for the members who cannot attend and we have noticed the amount of people watching the recordings is astounding!

It’s the future! And this nasty Covid 19 has sped everything up, because i do believe in learning karate at home.
