We have lots of news to share!

Shotokan Bites APP

The APP is now days away and all of our monthly and Inner Circle members will get access as soon as it’s ready. We are planning on uploading several weekly videos to the App, these will be short 5 to 10 minute videos (there will also be longer videos). We appreciate how busy everyone is, so we want to make these videos short and information packed for you.

60 Days To Fitness Challenge

I have recently had hip surgery and am now back training, I am in a mess physically, so I thought i would challenge myself to a 60 day back to fitness program.

This 60 day challenge will start off real easy, then gently build as the days pass. I am really looking forward to this and anyone is welcome to join me for all or some of the journey.

If you are just starting, getting back to karate, or like me, recovering from injury, this could be just what you are looking for.

As there is building work at the Dojo, we may have to record, edit, then upload to youtube/website etc. If we manage to get WiFi connected, we may do some live on youtube.

Residential Karate Course

We can’t wait for this one!

Our first course will be held in the beautiful Lake District, which is located in the north of England, UK. More details to follow 🙂

Website Update

We are working on the website continually and we feel the combination of the App and online Dojo is the way forward. We are especially excited about the Kata Dojo (image below).

For every kata we are going to have a main page and then five sub sections which will be:
1. Step by step basic tutorial
2. Kata Bunkai
3. Individual moves
4. Kata Tutorial Advanced
5. Kata Live Class Recordings

Each section will be HUGE! 🙂

Black Belt Test Update

We are finalising dates/times for the black belt test, please make sure everything is REALLY REALLY good before thinking about testing for black belt. We will let everyone know shortly.
